The Explorer Mode is one of the core features of MEDWaterHUB, a digital platform developed within the OurMED project and funded by the PRIMA Partnership. Designed to make Mediterranean water-related data more accessible, the platform enables users to explore, visualise and communicate environmental information through intuitive interactive tools.
By combining interactive maps, environmental indicators and dynamic visualisations, Explorer Mode allows users to analyse spatial and temporal patterns across the Mediterranean region. It provides an accessible way to better understand key water-related challenges and supports informed decision-making for researchers, policymakers and stakeholders.
MEDWaterHUB aims to transform complex scientific and environmental datasets into clear and engaging visual insights. As a Cross-Cutting Legacy platform, it is designed to leverage data, scientific evidence and environmental storytelling across Euro-Mediterranean projects, ensuring that valuable project results remain accessible beyond their lifetime.
This first demonstration showcases the capabilities of Explorer Mode, with additional features currently under development. Upcoming releases will include Story Mode, offering narrative-based visualisations, as well as data download tools to facilitate access to the platform's datasets.
